Working with the Client

There are fundamentally three categories of client with whom we work:

1. The individual and their personal life

2. A particular business or community project

3. An inspired inventor - helping them to find the practical material support needed to promote their work

The Process of Enabling

This process is universally applicable, but it is applied in ways appropriate to the particular client and case.

The following are the broad stages of this universal process:

  • As a start, the consultant needs to be reasonably fluent with the ability to access higher levels of consciousness and the Wisdom to be found therein.
  • The client arrives and explains the reason for the visit and the problems they are experiencing.
  • In many cases, the client will be experiencing muddle, confusion and lack of clarity - they will often say that - 'they are at a bit of a crossroads'.
  • The consultant quietly listens to the client - and shares the feeling of confusion.
  • This feeling of confusion is held whist ideas are exchanged.
  • After a while, the consultant will often receive a spark of intuition with a possible solution to the client's problem.
  • The consultant visualises this idea - but says nothing to the client.
  • A few ideas are exchanged whilst the consultant holds, with absolute clarity, a possible solution to the problem.
  • After a while, the client will often say - 'I have thought that we might be able to do this'.
  • The consultant picks this up and says = 'could you say a bit more about it'.
  • Then, very often, the client will describe, with crystal clarity, exactly what they want to set out to achieve.
  • The consultant asks - 'if you are so clear, clear why are you not doing it ?'
  • The client then gives numerous reasons why this cannot be done – including - it's too difficult - I do not have the skills or the time - I don't have the confidence.
  • The consultant's task is to understand how many of these reasons are real - and how many are through lack of confidence.
  • I describe this lack of confidence as 'Diffidence' - it is a surprisingly common feature of working in this way with these particular clients.
  • The next stage is to help the client build their confidence to the point where they feel able to start on the project.
  • Further discussion will help to define the next step to be taken.
  • Sometimes this is enough for the client to be on their way.
  • In other cases, the consultant may have an on-going role in supporting the client.

Every case is different - but the outline process is often remarkably similar.

If the consultant has the experience and skills needed to handle this process, it will develop into a rewarding and satisfying way to work.
